Aware allows for operation of multiple warehouses within an organisation. Inventory is held by warehouse. Most documents (Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, Shipments, Deliveries etc.) require a warehouse to be identified for the transaction. All inventory related transactions are recorded by warehouse. Most inventory related, purchase and sales related reports allow filtering by warehouse.

For organisations that use a single warehouse, or for users that work predominantly in a single warehouse a default warehouse may be specified for a user.

Recently warehouse transfers was completed to allow transfer of product between warehouse. This is useful for ad-hoc transfers, or for organisations that wish to centrally order and receive goods and then transfer between warehouses. Previously adjustments had to be made to complete this process. The new warehouse transfer feature allows transfers to be created easily with appropriate reference information and adding of the product to be transferred.
